WebRemove the cover from your internal doorbell chime. Loosen the “Front” and “Trans” terminal screws. Remove the old Pro Power Kit and its attached wire harness. Remove the protective decal from the Pro Power Kit v2 to expose the Bypass Mode wire terminals. Detach the doorbell wires from the internal doorbell chime and straighten the ends. WebThen the red wire that was originally on the Trans screw goes into ONE of the grey connector ends. The grey connector end of the other Chime connector has nothing in it. Then the white wire of one goes to Front screw, the white wire of the other one goes to Back screw. Was still getting 16 volt AC to both doorbell wire pairs.
