This will bypass the vehicle system and sounds easy to do. I only have 1 bulb in the back of my taillight ( don't know how to get it out) and I think its LED.

Tail lamps = white (includes rear side-marker lamps) L. Turn/Hazard = green. R. Turn/Hazard = green w/trace. No ground wire running in since the fixtures ground to the body.
